Wenn man Hollywood an der Stelle glauben darf, bedanken sich US-Präsidenten bei politischen Weggefährten für kleinere Gefallen ja mit einem Botschafterposten. Trump hat sich da etwas Luft verschafft und mit seiner Amtseinführung fristlos alle 80 US-Botschafter gefeuert. Da die Liste politischer Freunde bei Trump aber eher kurz ausfällt, wird das bestimmt lustig, wenn er jetzt mit seinen Buddies um die Ecke kommt. Schwarzenegger in den Vatikan ist doch schon mal eine schöne Idee. Obwohl ich mir ja nicht sicher bin, ob das so noch stimmt.

Fefe weist passend zum Thema gerade noch darauf hin, dass die komplette Führungsriege des US-Außenministeriums zurückgetreten ist.

Gefunden bei Schall und Rauch, wo man auch den ganzen Auftritt der US-Außenministerin inklusive dieser Begrüßung im Video bestaunen kann:

“Thank you very much, Richard, and I am delighted to be here in these new headquarters. I have been often to, I guess, the mother ship in New York City, but it’s good to have an outpost of the Council right here down the street from the State Department. We get a lot of advice from the Council, so this will mean I won’t have as far to go to be told what we should be doing and how we should think about the future.”
